Mwamba is Swahili for Rock.

In Africa, we understand how our ancestors lived through the rock paintings that they left behind. These translate to us (and generations to come) their values, beliefs and culture which shapes the roots of our identity.

Our Story

Mwamba is a collaborative branding agency which was founded in 2017 by Chenesai Majaya. Our name reflects how firm we are as a team and potential partner for your brand.

Mwamba thrives on creating insight-driven solutions built on deep human truths from consumers, communicated in a relatable manner that will illicit desired market responses. All this is hinged on Human-Centred Design which makes up the core of our Process.

We intentionally uphold diversity through the radical African millennial creatives that we collaborate with. This allows us to create robust and culturally rich solutions that will stand the test of time!

How we work

 

Mwamba is a collaborative agency with a flat structure. This means that our collaborative partners who will be working on your project/s are experts in their roles. It also reduces the cost-to-client as every person working on your project is a creative first before their qualifier. Hence, where a consulting meeting requires two people with different skill sets, you can get one and still get optimum value. We work on projects remotely, and we are flexible to change this if client and the nature of the project demands us to.

You tell us about yourself and what you need help with. We respond to this with a quotation.

We start the Human-Centered Design process

2.Empathise

We immerse ourselves in your target consumers/audiences to understand better their beliefs, attitudes and behavioural triggers.

3.Define

Based on your brief and our findings from your target consumers, we establish the core problems.

4.Ideate

After synthesizing our observations in the define stage, here we identify new ingenious / radical solutions to the problem.

5.Prototype

We create brand-led compelling creative work that is centered on consumer insight.

6.Test

We get our solutions into the hands of targeted users and gather feedback.

7.Implement

We use information gathered from the test stage to refine the solution, we repeat testing and refining until we come up with the best version of our idea.

8.Launch

We launch your product using channels that your targeted audiences use frequently.

9.Monitor

With the help of digital analytic tools and other project specific variants, we keep track of the campaign’s performance and refine the strategy if there is need.

10.Evaluate

This is where we check the results against our set objectives.
